A love of light between their years
A love of tears
To show no fear she loves his light
He loves her tears
A motion slight to cool her fears.

White dreams
Crackle in a crystal glow
Sweet suffering
The dreams she holds.

His breathless one.

A love of woes to heal her pain
A love of shame
To keep them sane she loves her throes
He loves her shame
But no one knows they play this game. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 160 [topic] => 13 [informant] => wray [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

What a great form here! It creates a really strong effect in this poem, breaking apart the sentences. The words you use are kind of vague too, which gives the poem a real ethereal sort of dream-like quality. The reverence of pain is always a fun topic, and despite the sad subject matter, it almost gives the poem a comfortable, pleasant feel... Reading this felt a lot like driving over a whole bunch of speed bumps, like in a parking lot, but with a sort of warm pleasantness to it that speed bumps just don't have. Keep it up! I want to see more! Butterat Zool.
