He asked why so many had to die

Some of his fellow firefighters were
among them
He tried to get to them
But they were to far below

As he sat crying and shaking his head
He heard a soft voice

They are here with me son every one of them
I needed more angels for my army you see
They are here with me

A feeling of warmth and joy came over him
He no longer felt the pain
Beautiful angels stood all around him

Speaking in one voice
They told him he needed to
go on
For now you must return
There is much yet for you to do

He stood wiping the tears from his eyes
Looking around he realized
A lot of his work had just begun
Reaching down he began digging
Through the rubble again [comments] => 2 [counter] => 227 [topic] => 43 [informant] => Punkie [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

This poem sent cold chills up and down my spine, it has great meaning to what has happened to the U.S. and I really liked it.
