Supressed hearts, Failed hopes
Only following raised dreams
I've not grown up
Just believed
And taken this path where it leads
To leave a dry eye
And wring it out
We offer up our hearts eagerly
In the deep hush
And beg forgiveness
Until then
You're mine in every way but

I came down a little while
At least to stop the tears

Learning to bury
Embedded
We hold out our hands like children

I get from this poem that you as I are struggling to find true love and over come the flaws in your charecter. I greatly appreciate you sharing this poem even if it means something different.
