Both day and night To give to me... God's infinite love and affection Shining brightly from above in the moonlight's reflection This angel of love was sent down to me... If only to be in my dreams 'Cause when I close my eyes... And sleep comes slumbering in This hauntingly beautiful face invades my dreams... again ... Comes floating in like a long lost friend... A mystery... quietly whispering in the wind Walking softly... through my dreams This angel is gone in the blink of an eye And has swiftly gone back... into the shadows... within my mind Leaving only traces... in my mind's eye... A haunting image of a beautiful face...
