[bodytext] => I never saw sky like that before;
A grand passionate rage to so enthral In a pure, electric ecstasy of terror; But I wonder if it’s noticed me at all Dare I step outside and take a chance? Strike defiant pose and dare the skies; Stretch my hands up high and like a god, Turn back the lightning burnt into my eyes. I never felt guilt like that before, Or weakness when I needed to be strong; As inside I screamed I know, I know I'm right, I also knew, I knew I was so wrong. I never felt pain like that before. As stomach retched and bucked at ribs too sore; Heaving breath through choking sobs to ache, And cry the night out lying on the floor. I never felt cruel like that before, Though as my tongue lashed vituperative spite, I could feel the rancid poison in my throat, Warning me I’d gone too far that night. I never felt lost like this before, As teeming rain drowns out despairing cries; I reach out hands in hope to seal a fate, And embrace white light as I vapourise.
