Array ( [sid] => 49828 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Lady Heroin [time] => 2004-05-31 13:12:20 [hometext] => I wrote a slightly different version of this poem, which is used as lyrics. However i don't know wether i like this piece better as a poem, song, or maybe both. Anyway's this is the poem form. [bodytext] => Lady Heroin says
the night's too long
when the drugs are gone

So sleep away
the night is much too long
when you can't follow along

Lady heroin don't cry
I could never say goodbye
When you miss me just sing this song

Too see you smile as my last sight
is such a beautiful way to say good-night
but I can't sleep just yet

And I can lie alone
trying to make it on my own
but with out you it's not the same

Lady heroin don't cry
I could never say good-bye
When you miss me just sing this song

Lady Heroin don't cry
I could never say good-bye
When you miss me, listen
I'll sing along. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 227 [topic] => 43 [informant] => dan_marcou [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
