With the best friend that you’ll ever know
Admiring the view and a memory or two
Through your frosted and blurry window

Aren’t you sat with the one who can sooth all your pain?
With a potion that’s sweet to the taste
To look at yourself and to like what you see
Is the medicine, there to be faced?

It works like a charm, or a pick in the arm
Clarifies all the right things to do
You’re never alone and you’ll always come home
To the one you love best, which is you.

So much truth in this...the importance of liking oneself. Much food for thought here Dave

Hi Chrissie,
Enjoyed your poem. My potion is coffee. Maybe I drink too much. I can just see out of that frosted blurry window now.

Always,
Laurie
