I'm just "Her sister."
To them,
I'm only "Her mini-me."
It's like they haven't noticed
She's gone now.
They've left me here
In the shadows
Of someone who's non-existant,
Someone only living
In old news articles and memories.
To them,
I'm just the name less one
Living in the shadows.

I bet she's never written such a good poem!
Yes, you'll be somewhat judged here, but we've got no idea about the rest of your life, only what you'll share with us, the impressions you'll make, and the imprint you'll make on our hearts. Hope you post some more great poems like this one.
