[hometext] => How lucky can one guy get?
[bodytext] => Just another day in the office,
Busier than some, Certainly not as bad as others. Calls are steady, some new accounts, Minor problems with the old, Just a pleasant day. I am at the computer, Doing a little chatting, Squeezing in a little work. When into the office, Without warning, Waltzes a vision of beauty! I have seen the Lady In her finest, and maybe at her worst. But today, She looks more magnificent Than I have ever seen! Her long brunette hair, Carefully done into a bun, And looks so prim and proper. I find myself staring At the gloss on her lips, and perhaps a little wanting. But my eyes wander up, And my heart stops, When I meet the eyes. (For all who read this, It is my deepest hope, You've also felt such bliss!) I stand transfixed, as we idly chat, of children, life and cooking. And I hold my breath, and extend my hand to gently cover hers. I relish it's warmth, and draw on her strength, Enjoying the feeling of peace. She doesn't return my clasp, But she doesn't withdraw, Nor pull back in alarm. The electronic chirping of my impatient phone Forces the parting of hands. And the intrusion of duty Brings the reality of the day Back into focus. The Lady has other chores, As do I, so we go our ways, But, I, with a much happier soul!
