I no longer have a safe place to go
What can I do when there is no place to hide
What can I do with these feelings inside
Holding them fills me with pain
Clouding my life with the dark cloud of shame

I am once again a small child
Free of the world not yet defiled
I am yours if you would have me
I am yours if you set me free

I can not remember the last time I saw your face
Even if it was yesterday the memory has been erased
I can not think about anything anymore
I have even forgotten what I came here for
Everythings blurring and I can not see
There in the future, is there a future for me

I am once again a small child
Free of the world not yet defiled
I am yours if you would have me
I am yours if you set me free

Looking to the white walls that entrap my world
Not understanding what they were put up there for
The walls keep me trapped in this world of guilt
There are no other emotions in me that are still felt
Blinded by small things that reflect in the sun
Wishing that my life had not yet begun

I am once again a small child
Free of the world not yet defiled
I am yours if you would have me
