Array ( [sid] => 49709 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => WHAT'S YOUR EXCUSE? [time] => 2004-05-30 10:46:42 [hometext] => Why do we shirk our responsibilities now-a-days? Would we continue......if we knew it was damaging us tremendously? [bodytext] =>

Fault or blame, free from the same!
Obligations, duties, shirking, brings shame.
What you do to another, yourself first.
Think carefully, irresponsiblity, you're accursed.
Taking responsibility for your own actions,
Your own growth conscientiously strengthens
Whatever takes place, whatever happens.
We constantly look for excuses, excuses, excuses.
Excusing ourselves from living, burning bridges.
Do you ever comprehend your own growth?
Struggles in life, you feel bogged down, no ingrowth?

Be aware of your inner growth at all times.
Your thoughts, feelings, and emotions, a lifetime.
Understanding how they influence your behavior.
Being able to wear responsibility as your armor.
No more excuses, excuses, excuses, they hinder
your growth to make choices and actions wiser.
When it is, you chose, not to excuse, experience
freedom, never again being bound by conscience!

Indeed there is a great lack of personal courage nowadays. Sharing has gone out of fashion it is sometimes only money that talks.
full marks for a very good poem.

Amen! I have come to a point in my life where I realize that taking care of myself is so very important and that it is something I do for me. Thanks for the encouragement.
