Have you ever stopped to listen?
To what your child has to say?
Or are you always just to busy
That’s why they run away
They go in search of friendship
Where some one takes the time
To listen to there inner thoughts
And what is on their minds
What if the path they travel?
Is the path to drugs and death?
Will you then have the time to listen?
When you lay them within the earth to rest
So why not take the time
From your oh so busy day
And sit and listen as to
What your child would like to say

Your peom says the truth, as a teenager who's parents are real busy and never use to listen to my sister and I much, we are now having problems with my sister and her going to drugs and making back choices,so I can say its the truth
