I FIGHT TEARS BACK
HOPING THAT HE RESTS IN PEACE
MY MIND IS SO TORN APART
THAT I CAN BARELY EAT
ITS HARD FOR ME TO WRITE ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT
ANOTHER MINNEAPOLIS MURDER
THAT STARTED WITH A FIGHT
CHRIS LITTLE WAS HIT
ONCE IN THE BACK
AND ONCE IN THE CHEST
HE MADE IT TO THE HOSPITAL
WHERE HE BREATHED HIS LAST BREATH
PEACE

This is so raw and emotional... I'm hesitant to even comment. There is truly nothing I can say except that your pain is obvious in this piece and I am so touched by your willingness to share it. I am very sorry for your loss.

This is such a sad poem, fueled by raw emotion and hurt, I am also very sorry to hear of your loss of a close friend.

Takecare,
