swirling, twirling, whirling 'round
through the wind, I'm flying free
walking on top of the mists of the sea
swinging high, swinging low
up and down I go
through the dew I feel the grass
it caresses my rough little feet as I pass
the chirping of doves I suddenly hear
brings an essence of peace to my ear
swinging high, swinging low
up and down I go
seconds before are gone and passed
but little sunlight and moonlight memories last
I'm like a fairy, flying with grace and care
my wings shall guide me everywhere
swinging high, swinging low
up and down I go [comments] => 5 [counter] => 166 [topic] => 14 [informant] => LittleWillow [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DreamsandWishes )

I love the way you write. I sometimes think dreams and wishes are the only thing that keeps us going sometimes. Daydreams can overcome a lot of unhappiness. A great escape into your own mind and your place of peace. Thank you for sharing this.

Delightfully witty. A good write. Cheery and bright and my heart danced right along with the words.
