An unseen battle changing in tide,
Darkness plagues daunting nights,
Shadowed spectres continue endless fights.
Silence shrieks from restless years,
Anon I've spent counting my nameless fears.
Sirens of Lore stay thy song
For death comes not for the ones who long--
Legends clash, willows quake.
Razors slash, skin breaks.
Blod falls as rain pelts the earth...
Cleansing away the grafitti and grime,
Baring an unsullied coat of whitened lime.
Can it wash away an ex-virgin's tears?
Or a drug addict's hypodermic fears?
Cloaked by the ethereal mist,
The rush of speeding tires like an ominous hiss,
Crystal droplets collect and shimmer,
Iridescent in the indigo sun's glimmer.
Why is this world so tainted?
Causing its youth to stray...
Thus we yield to its corruption--
Broken and Slashed.
Only the redness heals the strife,

Suppressed feelings screaming inside,

Awesome write, this should be in the top 30. hopefully one day it will. I have tried pills and the knife but unfort. someone has always been there to stop me. I have the scars and hosp. bills to prove it. I like your style of writing. So Awesome.
