Clouds, birds airplanes?
I don't,
I see eternity, emptiness, forever.
When you look in the mirror, what do you see?
Your reflection staring back?
I don't,
I see ugliness, hurting and lies.
Why do I see these things?
I really don't know.
Maybe you could offer a suggestion?

You are correct there are two sides to every coin, the birds, planes, and clouds are in the emptiness. The silver lineing behind the clouds are caused by the sun we can't see most of the time; we only see the thunderstorms of life. A read that makes you think

I'm the eternal optomist... I see - possibility, I guess... no matter where I'm looking. Oh that doesn't mean I never felt as you did though! I just finally got to a place where no matter how ugly or awful something looks/feels... I kind of believe it that way for a reason. You got me thinking... love that! Great write!

I agree with the last comment. There is always something good within, no matter how buried it is.
