[hometext] => Dreams and wishes cause it's what happens when you wish.. kinda.
[bodytext] => Her icy neck was chill and soft against his fingertips His lips where chapped like lace against her trembling lips Her arms embraced him as he sighed his last goodbye And his voice faultered slightly as he choked but didn't cry. Standing in the dusty patch of raw earth they had made While kissing with their eyes agaze and their human minds unafraid Beautifully enchanted and not ashamed of one another Once upon a time their love had tied their bones together. Barriers of golden straw with stray wisps of her flaxen hair Shielding them from meteors and thoughts they couldn't bear But a lost shooting star snuck in and gave him a chance to pray Her wish is coming true and now they say goodbye today. She didn't even know what lay beyond their prairie field He couldn't let her know all that a gust of wind'd revealed Beautiful and sorry, she was proud to feel contrary But she would have seen him go first if she was wary. He folded up his broken heart and wrapped up in wool Placing it in her familiar hands, feeling cold tears pull She wrung it out and set it down for the Great Earth Mother to take And she kneeled beside her lost-lover and felt his bones begin to shake. With all the blackened draperies in her face the vanity still showed With all the blacked storm clouds in the east the sun still glowed So he crossed his heart and hoped to die And watched her run away and with needles in his eyes Kneeling in the dusty patch of raw earth they had made While kissing with their eyes agaze and their human minds unafraid Beautifully enchanted and not ashamed of one another Once upon a time their love had tied their bones together. Once more, shakily, he crossed his heart and hoped to die And with much concentration he stuck a dagger between his eyes His glance caught on golden flax, so he plucked the hair of his lost-lover And with it pressed to his empty chest and his heart in the ground he died forever.
