But I guess that's part of the magic of love. [bodytext] => The stars that glimmered
In the night
Reflected on
The sea with might

A million diamonds
Their beauty display
The sea sings her song
A melodious lay

The words that I seek
To say to my love
All turn to folly
When I look up above

I see that the Maker
Put Love in the stars
The moon and the sea
That reaches so far

I understand now
That the voice in my heart
Can’t be turned into words
From my soul they won’t part

They’ll linger there always
Though trying to leave
Through ink and through paper
Their message to weave [comments] => 14 [counter] => 231 [topic] => 2 [informant] => wachumiri [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 20 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

Bravo! I like this one too wholeheartedly to say anything clever. Especially the fourth and fifth stanzas.
Well done, old chap!

David, you are soooo cool!!! That was such a beautiful poem. How true. Too bad we can't come up with words that can describe love, but I guess that's a good thing in many ways. Helps to keep it mysterious and "lovely". (excuse the pun). Well, once again, David, that was amazing. I am again left in awe.

*sigh* Love, sweet love, why art thou so complex?

I really liked the title of this one. I must say, of what I've read this one is my favorite of yours so far.

Lots of love and peace be with you,

Chelsea
