As if he were still all there.

I know the intricacies of her mind,
Weighed out the portions of her soul
And I know without a doubt this
Loss will devour her whole.

Him diseased and dying,
Her own cries underpinning...
I am forced to watch him die,

Her Soul Dimming

By the opal light in my room,
She sits, unwilling to move,
Fading with an unquenched thirst,
I could never soothe.

My poor sweet Cassandra,

Thanks everyone for reading and commenting, this poem meant alot to me and I found writing it really helpful to how I've been feeling...
