Array ( [sid] => 49241 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Fog [time] => 2004-05-26 18:07:00 [hometext] => This won't make sense to most, but to those few who have been where I am, or who are where I am, this will make tonnes of sense [bodytext] => The fog wrapped tight
Around this beautiful city
Slowly lifts and takes flight
From the force of this site

A smart man once said:
"A day without laughter's like a night without stars"
The horse is no longer being led
I can't see the stars from bed

But as the fog lifts I can enjoy
The world and it's power
All those horrible sites I bann
All those ones made by man

The fog lifts, I see their light
Majestic beauty for all to see
It cuts through this dreary night
I'm gonna make it through this... I might...

Excellent metaphor, with the fog. I live in rainy coastal Oregon, so I see a lot of mist. It has always enchanted me, so it makes this piece the more compelling...
Well done!

Not much fog in the mountains of Wyoming, but I've been in fogs in Washington state where you couldn't see your hands infront of you.
I loved your poem......it was very interesting, and painted beautiful pictures in my time.
love
