Floating along taking there time......
Sometimes I wonder what are dreams,
Or thunder storms making me want to scream.
Some of the things I dream about are in by gone days,
while others are in the future like sun rays.
Even in Nam there was times of mirth.
God did a great thing when he put us on this earth.
Tonight I can't sleep because the clouds are low and dark,
tomorrow will be a new day, the land no longer drab and stark. Into my mind will be a new spark. The joy of life, death, sun, rain, snow, birds, and yes friends, All of these into my life will blend.
The clouds of gathering sorrow,
Will all vanish in the light of tomorrow.

Clouds of the mind

It has been said, dreams are the clouds of the mind,
Floating along taking there time......
Sometimes I wonder what are dreams,
Or thunder storms making me want to scream.
Some of the things I dream about are in by gone days,
while others are in the future like sun rays.
