Reminders.
Dust settles
Between the cracks
And all about.
The day becomes a dream
Lost in hope
And losing it still.
The distance has
Forced itself between.
Drowning thoughts in tears
Lacing memories with salt.
Inflicting a fierce and ugly pain
Upon an empty, failing heart.
Each breath drawn
Airs itself in misery.
The passing and mourning thereof
Becomes larger than the life
given to.
And all that's left is so
To wallow
As the day closes in
Upon the passing of
All so badly wanted
But now vanished, gone
And lost. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 187 [topic] => 32 [informant] => reilt [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

A lost love is a terrible feeling to have to endure. Try to keep smiling.

Such sadness. I feel that today. Isn't it amazing how things can build so slowly and vanish so quickly. Life lessons. A very sorrowful and telling write.
