Array ( [sid] => 48914 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => She Had Such Big Blue Eyes [time] => 2004-05-24 13:50:24 [hometext] => This happened nearly 44 years ago, not my intention to make you sad...only share my life with you in the way I know best. [bodytext] => Born into a family with many brother's and sister's,
she somehow stood out above the rest.
Blonde curls swirled, and she had a smile
that I think was the best.

She was plump and cooing...a picture of delight,
doing all the baby things for us.
We all took for granted, I suppose...
when at times she began to fuss.

But, her eyes.....revealed something very deep.
Something in this child, told everyone, "I hurt!"
And so, the doctor examined her one day,
and his gentle hands lifted up her shirt.

Nothing could take away the look, in her deep blue eyes,
as she was watching us and telling us...she was wise beyond her year.
The tumor in her belly grew, and we could only watch
those big blue eyes overflowing with her tear.

And on the day God took her home with him,
a peace in her was seen...the pain, somehow was gone.
I remember Sharon, a child....who taught us love.
Her eyes burned forever in my heart, her cooing, a gentle song.
