Girl in the glass bottle

Contributed by carmen_queasy on Sunday, 23rd May 2004 @ 12:27:05 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

This bubble is fragile and sure to burst
Not big enough for the two of us
But wait, one person can’t survive alone
Yet neither can survive in oxygen
Tell me a story
A story of love
Again, about the girl in the glass bottle
There’s no way out, no ***** way out
But everyone stands to stare
This insatiably beautiful creature
Naked and bare, my pretty little nightmare
We’ll all just stare, she doesn’t care
She won’t complain, she wouldn’t dare
I am the girl in the glass bottle
Watch my every move, but take no step closer
No dear, don’t you move closer
The glass will stop you and protect me from love
This is the girl in the bottle
A bottle of hate to stop the love
Don’t get close, please don’t let me love
The glass won’t let you get close enough
I am the girl in the glass bottle
I could break this brittle glass like crumbling dirt
But then as I climb out and be free to love
The broken shards will leave me hurt
This bubble of love is sure to burst
But before that happens I’ll pop it first.

sounds like its too late, but remember this;
"Fear can stop you loving,
Love can stop your fear."
