The girl who saved the world

Contributed by carmen_queasy on Sunday, 23rd May 2004 @ 12:20:18 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

One day I will save the world
Just you wait and see
One day I will stop the suffering
So that we can all be free

You’ll see me on TV and will say
“She's the one who saved the world”
You'll recognize me straight away
And will say “that is my little girl”

I have a plan to change the world
I set future goals that I promise I'll achieve
And when I make it right to the top
You'll be the one looking up at me

You’ll read about me in the paper
As the one who saved the world
Then no longer will you deny
That I once was your little girl

People talk and people stare
They all think I am sick beyond all belief
I begged to have you and when I’m on top
You’ll be the one begging for me

You’ll pass me by and will stop and say
“She’s the one who saved the world”
Maybe then for the very first time
You’ll be proud I was your little girl

All I want is to save the world
And maybe then you’ll love me too
I’ll do you proud and grant each wish
I would do it all for you

I live in hope one day you’ll say
“You don’t need to save the world
I love you and I’m proud
To call you my little girl”

Someday I will save the world
If only to win your love
And maybe on that special day
I’ll finally be good enough

save the world only for yourself, because you saw the need and found the solution. if they love you, they love you because of you, not because of what you did, do or will do.
good job.
thanks for sharing
