Spook ate chains.
Alone in the light of the moon.
Ate the moon.
No man’s servant.
Every man’s grave every night.
Cut me. Break me. Never take me.
Hurt.
Hurt,
Hurt. Hurt.
One mountain calling another.
My voice, the only sound.
My breath is a tomb.
Spook, Spook, I’m gentle,
Won’t hurt you
Lick you, sooth you, cotton wool you.
I’ll woo you.
Don’t leave me alone.
Preaching, teaching, feeling, healing.
Touching, enfolding, heaven holding.
Wider, wider, undivided.
Spook spoke.

I read this last night, and again this morning. I found it fascinating and deep. Now I must go back and reread the scripture. Thanks for the pm. I look forward to reading more of your words.
