The night darkens to shadows
The moon and stars do shine
Over land and water
In these, our troubled times

And God up in his Heaven
Speaks down into the night
To moon and stars he whispers
"You must cast down your light

Let light glow down upon them
And radiate their souls
The shimmer of your beauty
Will make my people whole"

And then the angels sang out loud
Their voices of rejoice
The moon, the stars, the angels
Inspired by one voice

The night gave way to morning dew
The sun did rise again
And the light that flowed from Heaven
Brought peace to man again

Very nicely done. Technically I like this poem it has a clean and clear structure and flows easily as I read it. The message aand subject matter too is of noble caliber but though I admire that stance I can only say dream on...dream on...the stars and the moon has lighted the skies of the night for ages and yet none did it do to curb the astrocities of human souls. Again a nice poem!

"Peace, that delicate timbre that we often try to emulate within the music of humanity's symphony...and yet such discordant clamour are all that we find among the shores of insatiable human eddies..."
