The same things happening day in and day out
I shudder knowing that I'll hear his wicked voice call
I just wish I knew what this life was about

"You're a disappointment, you never do anything right"
That's all I hear the people around me say
It seems everything good that I do is out of sight
But no one understands the hell I have to pay

Hated and alone,
The blow of a fist
That's the only kind of affection I'm shown
Is it too much to want love sealed with a kiss?

I'm tired of everything, please just let it end
I refuse to give into the satisfaction of letting others see me cry
Is it really too much to have someone to turn to, just have one friend?
I can't do anything right no matter how hard I try

I'm done with this life
There is no point in continuing on, just to endure the abuse of others
I'm tired of the strife
I want to watch the red blood drip onto the white covers

God, if you're really there
Please don't let this attempt be in vain
From joy, the strings of my heart tear,
As I realize that it will end all the pain

I really like it a lot, and I think you can do something right... poetry. I know the pain you are talking about, I've been there, well actually I'm still here. I will tell you what a really good friend whos been there says to me,"always keep your chin up, no matter what, you can get through this, even though it seems like it's absolutely imposible." I would love to here more of your work.
