About what can or will happen
Will the future become like Star Trek or Stargate?
Or maybe the Jetsons?
Will everything be the speed of light?
Or will it be all the same?
Will the earth have disappeared?
Or will it still be there, and we are extinct?

Sometimes I think
About what must have happened
For the future to be like this
Like what if humans never evolved?
What would have happened if the dinos hadn't died?
What if the atom bomb had never been discovered?
Or if certain medicines were never discovered?

Sometimes I think
We are just pawns
We're too involved in our own little lives
What if we are actually in a sitcom or soap opera?
What if we are some computer game?
What if we are just atoms
In some larger sense?
What if we are just some program?
Or the shows we watch are reality?
And we are not?

Sometimes I think
I think too much
But without thinkers who think
The world would not be what it is today
Or what it will be like tomorrow
Because with thinkers,
