You need them. I believe that.
But why do some hurt you so bad,
and turn sweet love into something dark?
And yet, you find others, who from out of nowhere,
Come into your life and become so special.
She took me by surprise, of that I will admit.
And I continue to be amazed, the more of her I learn.
This woman, with such a tender heart,
Yet strong as any stone I've seen.
Discretion and respect for the Lady
prevents me from saying more,
But I ache for the words that have gone unspoken.
Of course, there may be no words...
My feelings may go unrequited.
But complain I won't, as she has done so much.
More than she can possibly know.
In public, the most casual touch of her arm,
Can mean so much more,
Than that of a cold lover.
So my emotions continue on thier rollercoaster ride,
Taking me to who knows where.
But somehow I have a feeling,
Like the carnival attraction,
I am in for a lot of fun!

ah yes, an emotional rollercoaster indeed, but isnt that what we call life...
Jump on that ride and have the time of your life, but mind your head!

Great write.
