Array ( [sid] => 48659 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Dead Tonight [time] => 2004-05-22 12:07:13 [hometext] => This ones kinda like one of my more depressing range, slightly disturbing and sometimes very emotional and hurtful. One of my better writes this month [bodytext] => The streets so barren, so devoid of life
This match is quivering, begging to strike
This night is so cold; it’s as cold as ice
Shall I wait for you, should I take a hike?
I don’t know anymore, I’m so confused
Life is just so useless, and so are you
You enter my dreams; I wait to be used
Something tells me, that I just can’t get through
Through this life
Through this life
Dead tonight

I Try to get past, Try to understand
But I’m stuck in a rut, waiting to die
With this knife so lonely, touching my hand
Begging me to leave, and not say goodbye
I lie dying, hypnotised by this fear
Of living a life filled with cold regret
Petrified, by your hidden existence
Your personality waits to infect
Your personality waits to infect
My cold life
Dead tonight

This ***** of a life, is subject to death
Betrayed by your fallacy, your dead touch
I wait for poison, which comes with your breath
I will be choked by your presence, too much
I think I showed you, how to hurt me bad,
Now you annihilate my twisted life,
This is all that’s left, everything you had,
This sick bastard’s gone now hand me the knife
Hand me the knife
I’m dead tonight

This one’s for the pain that you caused
This one’s for the aggravation
This one’s for all the ‘lies’ I keep
This one’s for my innocence
This one’s for the pain that you caused
This one’s for the aggravation
This one’s for all the ‘lies’ I keep
This one’s for my innocence

I will always remember you…
Especially when I kill you

I really love this poem, it has a nice flow to it! I usually disapprove of swearing in poems but it was really well used here. I look foward to new poems.
Sincerely,
Rum
