Why have you come?
My face I cannot
Show anyone

How I wish
That it weren’t so
That pain today
I didn’t know

Strong, I tried
So hard to be
But weakness now
Has taken me

A tear or two
Would not last
But this sobbing
Will not pass

Oh! Teardrops
Wash clear away
This ache, and
With pity play

Wet drops of
Therapy mine
I embrace you!
Now it’s fine

Wretched tears
I beg of thee
Please! Won’t you
Stay with me?

This is sad. With your exquisite talent you bring these emotions to life on single page. You have such a magic with words.

Timber thanks you for hitting that "OK" post my poem button and sharing this with us.

Thank you.
