You asked me a question,I could'nt believe what you said,
You said.... "Mommy does everyone have to die?"
I told you "yes" and you started to cry,
"Mommy I don't want to die,I'll never see you or daddy again",
Just as I was going to speak, You asked "do we ever know when?"
there really is no way for us to know,
God picks the day for us to go,
But we will be with God and the angels up there,
So please dont fear death or have any dispare,
For the ones that have passed before us will take care of you,
They will be waiting, showing you what to do,
No one can live for ever, we all will some time go,
But God is the only one who will ever know,
Than you said,"Mommy what would I do when you and Daddy are gone", I started to cry and said "you'll move on",
With a lump in your throat, you started to cry,
You simply said, " Mommy I don't ever want to die",
I give you hugs and tell you guys I love you every day,
Will that make it better so we'll never go away?
Than I told you the best way that I can,
when that time comes it's o.k,we will meet again,
We become angels with wings & can go any where,
And if I was to go before you, I will always be there!
you turned to me, and hugged me tight,
and held me that way, all through the night.

My daughter asked me the same thing and had the same reaction...she cried. Their young minds just don't comprehend growing up and someday being without us..or anyone for that matter. And trying to explain it isn't easy...
