I was going somewhere
On an icy morning
I saw a child searching for food
In the garbage bin
I felt so miserable
I gave him something to eat

Some days later
On a chilly evening
I saw that child sleeping
Almost bare, on the street
I felt very depressed
I gave him some warm clothes to wear

Some days later
On a hot afternoon
I saw the same child
Begging for some money
I felt very unhappy
I brought him my home, with me

Some days later
On the same street
I saw many children searching for food
In the garbage bin
Looking at them, I felt very sad
I sighed and went my way
