And it hurts so much
It haunts my waking hours
And those in which I dream
Sometimes I feel like anything
Anything
Must be better than being here
I feel like I’m in the way
Just making everyone mad
Sometimes I think
I think you’d all be better off without me
And I without you
You hardly even see me now anyways
As though I truly were invisible
You look right through me
Past my small blue eyes
So full of hurt
Of longing
Like you would never know.
It’s hard to make my feelings known
When I try, I’m seen as depressing
Stupid
A pity whore.
***** your pity.
Take it elsewhere.
I don’t want it.
All I want is to be seen.
To feel alive again
For these nightmares to stop haunting me
Taunting me
With visions of the pathetic fool I have become
And all the things that I can never be.
So this is it.
My final try, before I say goodbye.
Because after this I don’t know if I’ll have the strength
The strength to go on pretending
Leading a false life.
Everything’s happy.
It’s not.
This may be my last chance
Before I give up
Give in
Before I’ve gone too far to be saved
Only your words can save me now
But, the question is,
Do you even see me?
And, when you do,
Will you be too late? [comments] => 1 [counter] => 147 [topic] => 61 [informant] => blackmarker [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => selfstruggles )
