Is this how it feels if someone fails I see your car pull up Invite you in Suddenly I feel maybe you win We stand there in awkward movements As soon as I’m about to cry You throw your arms around me and know exactly why I’m not sad, but happy for once This is what I wanted This is what I needed I pull away you look at me hesitantly I think your debating No, not now I remember our past and look at you and smile I say hey it’s been a while And we kissed I realize what I cried for is what I missed So long ago This was allowed But now your gone Leaving Monday This was him begging of our goodbye Because what I promised I’m going to have to break it This is the last time I’ll be with you This is the last time I’ll ever feel you This is the last time me and you Will talk like this We talked for hours at a time About the stupidest things You kissed my forehead And I felt I was worth something This is what I needed To be brought up And let down not gently But for sure Ill never see you again But I will always and forever miss you This is what I needed??? To lose the one I love? To be heart broken? But does everyone go through this? Does everyone feel the way I feel now At least once in their lives?
