A pleasant feeling that you never investigate.
Her eyes so surreal and comforting,
Yet mysterious in their core.

Her power is haunting
Her strength unnerving
Her will unmatched.

The Beauty is not blinding,
Yet she is more beautiful than the rest.
She has a captivating beauty
A hidden beauty
As though only the privileged may see.
It’s real inside and out
But goes undetected,
She is the unnoticed breeze in spring.

I see her.
The immortal.
But the breeze feels lighter today.
Her eyes gleam,
but her strength diminishes underneath.
A slave with invisible burden,
She is straining with all her might.
Vulnerability makes her more beautiful,
More vivid
More real.

She is stumbling
But it’s enthralling
No tears ever fought a harder battle,
Than those who chose
To flow from those unworldly eyes.

She is in combat within herself
Struggling not to fade.
The immortal is seeking help
But no one can see her.
The one place she could go
Has turned her loose to survive,
To thrive on her weakness.

She turns slowly looks straight at me
Enchantingly, Hauntingly, Desperately.
With a scream we cry:
“WHY ME?”
