But yet I loved you
Like a romance from long ago
I’d let you steal me
I’d sell my soul just to seal us
Last night, I dreamed light never came
I know it’s just a dream but do you feel the same?

I don’t know how I got here
Starlight, you’re the only thing I fear
Daylight, when you hold me I feel complete,
You’re not set to love – yet I feel your love from beneath my feet
Last night, I dreamed light never came
I know it’s just a dream but do you feel the same?

Friends don’t understand how we feel,
I could never harm you,
You were born to heel
This mixed up heart
You’re so much older,
Yet we can never be apart,
Last night, I dreamed light never came
I know it’s just a dream but do you feel the same?

Author note:

lol yes it does look a bit like a champane glass - i'd like to point out that this is not intentional though it does show my talents never end not just a poem - but a piece of art aswell!!! lol

:)

p.s thank you for all your kind comments so far...
