Death of Trust

Contributed by Killer on Wednesday, 9th October 2002 @ 07:30:00 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

My heart has grown very cold,
There is no fire in its hearth.
My eyes are dead, so I've been told,
They've lost their shine, and show no mirth.
Everything I've loved has gone,
Leaving empty misery, in it's stead.
It's dark in here, and I'm alone,
To go through life, like the walking dead.
I once had many hopes and dreams,
Now gone in a blinding flash.
When I look to future times, all the things I see,
Have been burnt, black and turned to swirling ash.
I know I'll never trust again.
I'll move my feelings deep within,
'Cause trust has brought me too much pain,
And to trust again would be a sin.

Very well writen. I think we've all felt like this before in one way or another. But if you never trust again you will never know friendship, love, or happiness. Trust is vital to so many things.

Great write
