Even though faces don't smile and we havn't had any peace in a while
It is grim and it is grey and often times we need to pray
But beyond all the dark, life can still be a nice walk in the park

For there is light and there is day
And there are plenty of delightful things to make us stay
For look at nature and its awe
And there are plenty much more we havn't yet saw

Just think of all the flowers in spring, how they look and how the birds sing
And think too of a butterfly with all its colours, amazing to the human eye
And then there's us, how great we are
We can see, smell and touch and do so much

So when things are dark and seem grey
Try and think what you can do today
Make someone laugh or make someone smile or do something nice that lasts a while or try and capture something bright
Maybe a human ray of light

Whatever it is you plan to do
Always try and let the light shine through [comments] => 3 [counter] => 192 [topic] => 63 [informant] => SweetRhythm [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => hbadday )

You're a positive soul!!!

however, i think there's a good life lesson in "make someone lauch or make someone smile or do something nice that last a while". Cool write and nice topic, makes this poem useful. = )
