slipping and weaving,
through ever thought,
ever memory,
I dont want to go,
to the place everyone says is bad,
the place in the back of your head,
where most people never get out,
i dont want to slip and fall into that place,
i dont want to bash my head
on every rock on my way down
I dont want to land on a ledge
halfway down,
not knowing which way is up,
not knowing which way is down.
I need to know where this place is,
is it really in my past
or do i have to worry about it
in my future,
I dont want to fall and have to climb out,
all by myself with no help,
no one there to lift me up,
but everyone seems to be there,
to pull back down again,
i dont want to fall into that place in my head,
into my memory,
i just dont want to get lost.

I feel betrayed,
with the thoughts of everything,
slipping and weaving,
through ever thought,
ever memory,
I dont want to go,
to the place everyone says is bad,
the place in the back of your head,
where most people never get out,
i dont want to slip and fall into that place,
i dont want to bash my head
on every rock on my way down
I dont want to land on a ledge

I need to know where this place is,

i've been to that place. Wouldn't change it though, cos when u get out, everything is that little more sweeter.
