Slience before the fall

Silenced bliss hard we ride
With swords of war held high
Like an endless red tide
We let our sabers fly
Silence lays upon the face
Of my foes I hold so dear
At once they fall with such grace
I couldn’t shed a tear
A spray of red fills the air
Like mist from the rain
Painting the face and their hair
They never feel the pain
Cutting down the weeds of grace
The solder who marches without a face

i agree. the flow to this is remarkable, "they never feel the pain" that is brilliant.
