Array ( [sid] => 47506 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Would you? [time] => 2004-05-14 13:46:00 [hometext] => My boyfriend and I were having a serious conversation the other day about what we would do if the other would die. It was a werid conversation but since he is in the Army and may have to go to war one day we talked about it. After i wrote this poem. [bodytext] => If I were to die tomorrow would you miss me?
Would you remember how I fit perfectly in your arms?
Would you remember our special spot under the big oak tree?
Would you remember how you could protect me from all harm?

Would you think of me at all?
Would you visit my grave and cry tears that come from the depth of your soul?
Would you remember little things, like our late night phone calls?
Would you remember how you were the only one who made me feel whole?

Would you remember how easily my lips always met yours?
Would you remember how you always brought a sweet smile to my face?
Would it be to painful that you would have to keep all the memories behind closed doors?
Would you remember how we would always cancel plans with our friends so we could spend romantic evenings together at your place?

Would you remember?

It is sad that so young you have to face this type of thought but important that it be discussed and acknowledged. You may someday lose one another but the memories of the love and faith and trust will never fade. Lovely write.

I liked this poem a lot. It's sad that it seems the younger we get the quicker we are to deal with such tramatic situations. This poem brought tears to my eyes. Good write. Keep up the good work and I hope everything goes well with you and your boyfriend ~Stace~
