Dick

There once was a man named Dick
He had a sidekick named Nick
Nick and Dick were actors in a flick
They always drove a boat and got seasick
Dick and Nick were superheros in the Atlantic
Nick fought with a stick
And Dick fought with a toothpick
They weren't ordinary superhero picks

Their main enemy was a tick
His name was Rick
Rick always used a dropkick
This worked very well against two sticks
But Nick and Dick knew some tricks

One day, Nick and Dick were having a picnic
When all of a sudden they get hit by this hick
This hick wasn't no ordinary dipstick
He was Rick's sidekick
But Nick and Dick weren't psychics

The hick, wearing a tunic
Whips out his broomstick
Dick runs into a frenzied panic
Nick stays calm and hits the hick with his stick
The hick gets hit in the stomach
Then, The hick gets knocked out by some bricks
That were thrown by Dick
They checked out the hick's pockets
And found out he was Rick's sidekick

Dick and Nick decided to go after Rick the tick
They got to his house and they heard some music
They followed it and there was Rick
Laying peacefully in his hammock
So they sneaked up to Rick, carrying a yardstick
Little did they know, Rick was slick
He knew about his sidekick the hick
So Rick the tick played a trick
On Dick and Nick

Dick and Nick went up slowly to Rick
They struck Rick with the yardstick
But Rick was as hard as a rock in a crick
Dick and Nick realized it wasn't Rick
It was a trick!
They both ran away quick
But there was Rick
Towering over them with a pick
Dick pulled out his toothpick
"Once and for all we will get rid of this Rick the tick"
Said Dick
Nick pulled out his stick
Agreeing with Dick

Right then Rick the tick took a swing at Nick
Dick passed Nick his toothpick
And Nick put the toothpick in Rick
"You stab me with a tootpick!?"
Exclaimed Rick the tick
Little did Rick know, the toothpick was toxic
In a few seconds Rick the tick
Left the world, his life so tragic

Nick and Dick had finally rid themselves of Rick and the hick
So They decided to go home to Trixsy and Derek
The parents of Nick and Dick
For they were homesick
They took a cruise across the Atlantic
On a boat where they got seasick
The cruise was so scenic
That they forgot about getting seasick
One night, feeling homesick
They met two chicks
Both wearing red lipstick
They had fun, Nick and Dick
The time of their lives with these two chicks
These two chicks ended up getting married to Dick and Nick
And they all lived happily ever after in the Atlantic

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
