Elaine at the doctor

Contributed by DaveHugs on Thursday, 13th May 2004 @ 03:34:44 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Where would we wait
If yellow lines
Were painted in this
waiting room?

She’s got an attitude
That one
Behind the counter
Repeating; Shouting
Your ills
When you try to whisper

You’re not deaf
But trouble is
Nor is anyone else

He looks poorly
Surly
And sad
Do you want
To know?
No could
Be bad

That baby
Looks cold
Out of control
No wonder
She’s here

And me
Not ill
As such
Just scared

Getting results
Today
Hope it goes
Okay

That’s me
Surgery three

Surgery
Three

Three…

The waiting room drags everyone down but it's something we all have to do in life wait for things to happen. Good luck with everything that happens in your life and I enjoyed reading what you wrote.
