Is it too late to make changes?
Why did I wait so long?
I could have been much better
Did I know that all along?

Afraid now, lost and lonely
She may never take me back
I may have spent my last chance
My life of blue turned black.

I’d rather make love to her
Then make one more mistake
I have to make her see now
Tired Tears Keep Me Awake.

I’m grasping at the last straw
Can only hold our memory
I won’t give up one last hope
For one more chance for me.

But time keeps wasting away
I’m only feeling more misery
We used to have our everything
It’s not how I need it to be.

I’d rather make love to her
Then make one more mistake
I have to make her see now
Tired Tears Keep Me Awake.

I must escape the bad days
Still fight to find the sun
I need to make it turn around
‘Cause she’s the only one.

I’ll learn to leave self pity
And guide my heart ahead
Not dwelling on what’s too late
Just make her smile instead.

I’d rather make love to her
Then make one more mistake
I have to make her see now
Tired Tears Keep Me Awake.

She’s all I want and need now
She’s all it’s ever been
Do anything to make it
To find a perfect end.

Though...

I enjoyed reading it.
I know the idea behind it.
You need to know when it's time to let go though.
Hurting someone repeatedly means it's time.
I hope you make it through this though.
