Array ( [sid] => 47228 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => how do you know [time] => 2004-05-12 16:53:33 [hometext] => haha yeah i write a lot of on the spot poetry. most of it sux so this most likely does too but that's cool. just warning you... [bodytext] => slowly, so quiet, tensely inside
hiding beneath these forsaken eyes
smiling as seen
quietly i whisper
how do you know
my smile is mendacious
how do you know

you smile back at me and i see it inside
numbness subsides
crying and screaming
you rage for help yet no one else sees
you look deeply at me and know what i am
the cuts are now deeper
the longer we stand

from this reality i ran
i wish to do so now
but my feet do not turn
you still remain
why do you linger
our conversation's prolonged
how do you know
i'll stay here by you
how do you know

i have a feeling
you are me
how do you know
you always know
i know you as well
look what you've done now
you've made me alive [comments] => 4 [counter] => 178 [topic] => 13 [informant] => innerbeautyqueen [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

spot poetry is the best poetry.
it shows the most raw emotion, without getting too..."literaturey"
it love this poem.
how should i put it...
it "spoke" to me.
