Pretty little china doll, say: ‘mama’ for me, dear,
then let me brush your hair to show I care.
You’re the one toy I keep, lie back and sleep,
Or cry sweetly, so I can wipe away that tear.
Porcelain face, bright painted eyes fixed in adoring delight.
Cute chubby arms, little fat fingers to hold, gaily frocked.
Crooning: ‘I love you, I love you’, as in your arms I’m rocked.
Programmed ever ready heart, comforting your sleep at night.
Much cherished till friends arrive and then you’re away.
My needs nursery rhyme simple, put aside with ease.
Your soulless artificial lover so easy to please.
Kept in never land, un-minded till it’s time for play.
Such a pretty doll, I will always be your number one
Passionless friend, but never more than a means to an end,
However I try, just a rag and china cutie pie.
Let me fall, crack open and be gone

Another good poem, found inside the commented section. I like this line;
"Programmed ever ready heart, comforting your sleep at night. "
Nice job. |
