Array ( [sid] => 47128 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => ~ PRAYER ~ [time] => 2004-05-11 22:19:44 [hometext] => This Is My Prayer That Was On My Heart, I Felt The Need To Share It With You All ! It Has 4 Parts .. I'll Post These Two Then The Other Two Tomorrow Night It May Be Of Some Help To You ! God Bless You All With His Love,Grace & Mercy !! [bodytext] => Lord, let me be willing to be loved by You, teach me
humility, how to be humble and loving like you, Lord.
Don't let my pride stand in the way of my attempts to
be holy and give to me the grace of humility as a part
of Your wonderful life within me. Help me to always
depend on You in all of my decisions and redeem me,
Lord, from my pride, deliver me from Satan's power
and his pride. Help me to walk rooted in You and
increase my whole body with the increase of You.

You are humility, Lord, clothe me in the garb of
Your meekness and gentleness, help me to make
Your humility my goal and to sacrifice all else
for it, help me to count myself nothing so that
You may be my all, that You alone may be exalted.
Take away my lack of love for others, the indifference
to their needs, feelings and weaknesses, my sharp
and hasty judgements and the utterances I make about
others that I try to justify myself, the manifestations
of temper and irritation and the bitterness and
estrangement that have their root in pride.

I pray, Lord, to have the humility of Jesus in myself
and for others around me to learn His humility. Help
me to sink into Your humility more deeply day by day,
work in me making me what You want me to be. Help me
to surrender myself to You all that I have and all that
I am in this world and make me a partaker of Christ, an
empty vessel which only You, Father, can fill, help me
to do nothing by myself so that you may be all. Jesus,
live in me and make me meek and lowly, help me to know
that I have nothing but what I receive from you, that
You own all that I have and all that I am, and then,
Lord, help me to bow to You in deepest humility and to
wait upon You for everything.

Father, help me to be Your servant that through me,
as it was in Jesus, You might do Your work of love,
to not put myself first in anything I do and to be
joyful to be put last as Jesus was. Let humility be
my true relationship with You and with Jesus, as it
is through His Spirit that these gifts come. Help me
to grow in this gift above any gift I have received
by Your grace and help me to know this gift in
myself more each day of my life.

Lord, help me to be poor in spirit, meek and humble,
seeking only to be last, not first, in Your Kingdom,
for I am Your lowly servant. Help me to know my nothingness
and to humble myself above all other things, to be the
servant of all and to show Your presence in my soul.
Make humility be a distinct object of continued desire
or prayer in my life, to be a servant to Your people
and to use this service to You, Lord, to free me from
my sins and to empty me of myself and my pride, let my
nothingness before You be my glory and my joy!

Teach me discipline, Jesus, to help those in my life
around me, even those who are against me. Let me serve
You with my whole heart, my whole mind and my whole
soul. Come dwell in my longing heart, Lord, so that I
may become truly humble, help it to be my very nature,
enter, renew, and fill my life with Your Divine power
and make Yourself one with me. Live my life for me so
that I can live before the Father in a humility like
Your's, live and breathe in me through Your Holy Spirit
and help me to hold Your gift of humility in higher
esteem than any other gift the Spirit has for me.

I can do nothing myself, Jesus, I trust in You, help
me to stand up to the test of daily life with my fellow
men as to how great my love is for You. My humility toward
my brothers and sisters will be my only proof of how much
my humility is real, that humility is really in me. Let
Your Spirit always possess me even in my unguarded moments
of my daily life when life presses me the most, even with
those who disagree with me, and to always be humble with
those who provoke me, forebearing them with love, let me
always esteem them better than myself, to see myself as
nothing and let You be my all, to lose myself in finding You.
