Array ( [sid] => 47044 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => You're NEVER alone. [time] => 2004-05-11 10:37:14 [hometext] => This is about a friend. She's going through some really hard times, and I just want her to know she's not alone. [bodytext] => I can't stand it when you tell me that it's over.
That if you disappeared right now I wouldn't care.
I know it makes me a hypocrite to say this,
But to tell you that you're worthless--I don't dare.
I know your run at life has been a struggle
And at times we all feel that it's time to go.
But before you bring this grief on all who love you,
Just hear me out so you can finally know...
If it all ended today I'd never find out
The meaning to the hate behind those eyes
Couldn't take you to the top so I could show you
The reason to the blasphemy and lies.
Just because you live your life in isolation
Dosn't mean that you can hope to be alone.
I won't turn away untill you let me save you,
Reach out from the broken place that you call home.
And these words are ones I've lived to see you take in
But when you need them most I find I can't express
My mouth is sealed against my better judgement
I'm afraid you'll bring me down I must confess.
I'm so scared to get involved in case I lose you
It's something that I've battled with before.
Please assure me that I'm not just wasting heartbeats
On someone who craves death forevermore.
And if it is your coice then I'll respect it
But don't do it cause you think that no one cares.
I've been to hell and back just for the thrill,
But there are some experiences I won't share.
I've tried before to end things but I messed up.
Please let my mistake exist not in vain.
I know that my attempt at rescue's feeble
Just know that I am here--I feel your pain.
And slowly it will overtake and kill us both
If you dam it up inside.
Screw this game of run and hide.
Within resent and anger you reside.
But you're not the only one.
Don't.
I've lost so much--If you go I'll have no reason.
Everyone searches for their reason to existence.
So don't risk destroying this.
Or I fall too. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 153 [topic] => 61 [informant] => liquidchaos [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => selfstruggles )
